Get all the important sales reports from the Amazon Vendor Central
PROBLEM
STATEMENT
Our smart security clients (August Home and Yale Security) are huge vendors on Amazon and needed a way to get useful insights for their traffic, sales, inventory, and sales forecasting data. The reports had to be generated on a daily basis and according to their specific criteria.
SOLUTION
We used the Reports API of the Seller Central API (SP-API) to extract the required information. The extracted data was then cleaned and modified to meet the client’s needs to generate useful reports. Amazon provides the reports in the GZIP format which are converted to CSV before emailing them to the clients.
